Then it goes a large step beyond. With styling that mirrors the best in modern art and design. Engines as powerful as they are refined. Suspension settings and ergonomics fine-tuned at one of the world's toughest race tracks. Award-winning quality. And a segment-shattering 400 hp V-Series model that you have to drive to believe. If you want to stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons, CTS is the car.

One of CTS's more innovative features is the thumbwheel located on the steering wheel hub. It lets you adjust the volume of the audio system and change the signal source without removing your hands from the wheel.

New for 2006, the available 5-speed automatic transmission includes Driver Shift Control which allows tap-up, tap-down shifting. A smooth-shifting Aisin 6-speed manual transmission is standard.

CTS offers a choice of 210 hp 2.8 litre and 255 hp 3.6 litre V6 engines. Both are bristling with advanced features, including variable valve timing (VVT), a variable intake manifold and electronic throttle control.

CTS's computer-designed architecture is one of the most advanced automotive chassis on the market today. It's engineered to be dimensionally precise, lightweight and extremely strong.
