Explore a more sophisticated form of family vehicle.

There is much more to family travel than simply getting to your destination. There are the rewards to be gained along the way. That is particularly true if your form of family transportation is the Buick Terraza. It is as refined as it is versatile, and integrates a distinctive style with an exacting standard of quality. The technology is also tremendously sophisticated, highlighted by a new 240 horsepower 3.9L V6 with variable valve timing on CXL FWD models. But what sets Terraza apart from other vehicles in its class is also precisely what it shares with other Buicks: the luxurious interior appointments, QuietTuning™, and the peace of mind provided by OnStar° and the backing of the new comprehensive 4 year/80,000 km limited warranty and the no-deductible 5 year/100,000 km Extended Powertrain Warranty.** The 2006 Terraza.

Listen Up

How does Terraza produce such a quiet ride? It is the product of the Buick-pioneered QuietTuning process that includes no fewer than 28 special acoustic absorbers strategically positioned throughout the vehicle to help absorb noise. QuietTuning also reduces noise at its source, with features such as quiet-tread tires.

Greater Stability Equals Greater Control

The StabiliTrak™ vehicle stability control system is standard on FWD models. When the system detects a lateral skid, it automatically compensates by applying pressure to the appropriate front brake, reducing power, or both to help return the vehicle to its intended driving line. Further enhancing control are standard 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

No Need To Choose Between Passengers And Cargo

With a wide range of seating configurations possible with the folding 2nd-row captain's chairs and 3rd-row removable, flat-folding split-bench seat, Terraza doesn't ask you to choose between passengers and cargo. To maximize cargo volume, you can fold down the second and third rows of seats to open 3865 L (136.5 cu. ft.) of space.
